Superior Optics and Lens Performance for an Active Lifestyle

Eyecare professionals recommend polycarbonate for children and adults with active lifestyles because of its superior impact protection. It's 20 times stronger than dresswear lenses and virtually bullet proof. Up until now if you had an active lifestyle and you wanted a lens that provided both precise optics and superior impact protection you would have had to compromise on the optics. Now you can have both superior impact protection and accurate optics with new RESOLUTION lenses.

Other polycarbonate lenses use old lens technology that causes material stress and results in optical flaws like poor resolution and prescription variations - flaws that were revealed in independent laboratory tests. Only, RESOLUTION lenses are made by a new process that provides you with the proven accurate optics found in glass with the amazing strength of polycarbonate.

Why New Technology and Optics Matter
With other polycarbonate lenses your eyes have to compromise to make up for poor resolution and power variations. This results in unnecessary head movement, adjusting your angle of vision or forcing your brain to interpret what you're seeing. When it comes to your vision you shouldn't have to compromise. With RESOLUTION lenses you won't have to.

In the diagrams below laboratory results for resolution loss (-6.00 power lenses were tested) are overlayed on a photo of a typical real life situation. On the left lens the colored areas (pink, red and maroon) indicate the different degrees of resolution loss that tests revealed in the other polycarbonate lens. Only the clear area represents accurate resolution. As the call out numbers get higher the resolution loss gets greater. It's like changing monitor screen settings every time your eye moves around the lens! But, the RESOLUTION lens (RIGHT) has virtually no resolution loss. Your vision is optimum all around the lens. Mouse over each photo to see the effect that resolution loss has on your vision.

Laboratory tests on power variations revealed similar results and more optical deficiencies in regular polycarbonate lenses. The RESOLUTION lens proved accurate to power within an unprecedented -.02 compared to differences of -.2 to -.7 in more than half the lens area of the other polycarbonate lens.
